Burn is an irreverent lifestyle magazine for those who like to snigger up the sleeve of the counter-culture and was created by Sion Smith who also founded the genre defining magazine, Zero.

Until we get bored, or a much better idea comes along, the business model for Burn is to publish an entertaining lifestyle magazine in a digital format whilst also publishing an extended hard copy edition for those who want a little bit extra.

As our errant founder once stated in front of some important people before he was removed from the premises: “Isn’t it time somebody took this gorgeous artform (magazines) and breathed some life back into it? Are we so concerned with banging out issue after issue for the sake of it, that we forget it’s a medium that speaks volumes to people. Not only with its content, but also with its delivery, pictures and subjects. The damn thing should have a soul, not a bottom line...”

With that in mind, we try to stuff each issue of Burn with as much fun as possible. Interviews with bands, authors, wrestlers, artists; articles on forthcoming attractions, days gone by and events happening under our noses... to be honest, the brief is this:

"If we like it, it's in."

Do we need any more justification than that?

No. We didn't think so either.

If you want to pretend you give a crap about what we're up to here, why not join us at one these loser's clubs? If your favourite sad sack secret club icon isn't here - fret not. We are busy wasting some of our time on the planet fixing that as we speak! (We love it really!).
